A 1-Day Workshop on Maui or An Online Course Offered Statewide
A 1-DAY WORKSHOP FOR EDUCATORS OF GRADES 4-12 on MAUI in Kīhei at Learning Endeavors
June 23rd 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM 

Application Closed for MAUI, but OPEN for Online Statewide

This is a one day event with a combination of field based and indoor classroom lab activities.

Educators will:​

  • Investigate their coastlines with an NGSS Aligned Approach

  • Analyze climate science data & model coastal impacts

  • Discover how to engage students in Citizen Science 

  • Receive A CCR Resource Kit

  • Gain Access to CCR Online Resources & Materials

  • Receive a $175 Stipend

  • Visit South Maui Wetlands & a KÄ«hei Beach

ONLINE COURSE FOR EDUCATORS IN HAWAI'I (GRADES 6-12)
Application Now Open - DEADLINE EXTENDED TO June 15th! 

This is a professional development course for educators from all Hawaiian Islands.

In this course, educators will:

  • Investigate their coastlines with an NGSS Aligned Approach

  • Analyze climate science data & model coastal impacts

  • Discover how to engage students in CCR Citizen Science & Video Story Production

  • Receive A CCR Resource Kit

  • Gain Access to Video Production Tools

  • Receive a $300 Stipend

Course Schedule:

  • July 24, 25, & 26:  9:00 - 11:00 AM

  • December 7th: 5:00 - 6:30 PM

  • Six Interactive Online Modules of Content
