Expeditions for Youth

Over school breaks, beginning March 2024, youth 10-13 years old can join a two-day expedition to explore and discover locations throughout the island. They will have outdoor adventures, solve mysteries, learn about science & and culture, and Mālama ʻĀina.

GOAL

Youth on the island of Molokaʻi will discover the value of key ecosystems within local watersheds and within the Hawaiian Ahupuaʻa system as a result of two-day outdoor adventures over school breaks. The Molokaʻi community will increase their awareness of strategies and opportunities for watershed stewardship aligned to existing conservation efforts.
