My name is Yheslie Valete. I am currently a senior at Moloka’i High School, I was born and raised on the island of Molokai and am a second-generation Filipino-American and plan to be the first in my family to graduate from college. I enjoy working with animals, flora and fauna, and anything to do with videography and community. My favorite part is documenting memories and being able to share a glimpse of the magic to people who may not be able to attend or witness! To finish this off, my future plans include moving to O’ahu, spending a few years in the mainland, travel a bit, then coming back home to Hawaii.
