Spring Break Camps

Learning Endeavors is offering a Molokaʻi Coastal Camp for grades 4-6 and a Maui Wetlands Camp for ages 7-12 during spring break. In both camps participants will investigate coastal ecosystems, through hands-on lab experiments, citizen science app use and creative projects!

The two day Molokaʻi Coastal Camp will take place on March 14th and 15th, from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm. Each day will start and end at Kaunakakai School. On day one campers will visit Koheo Wetlands and on day two they will head to One Aliʻi Park. This camp is in partnership with the Molokaʻi 21st Century Community Learning Center and is funded by National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) and North American Association Environmental Education (NAAEE). The camp will be capped at 15 participants and each camper will receive a free t-shirt.

The four day Maui Wetlands Camp will be held March 14-17, from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm each day. The first and second day will take place at Kealia Ponds National Wildlife Refuge. The third and fourth days will be split between the Lāʻie Wetlands (Mauka side) and the classroom. Campers will be engaging in restoration projects, art activities, citizen science and stop motion animation creation. On the last day the camp will culminate in a project and performance day that families are encouraged to attend. The camp tuition is $225 per camper for kamaʻaina and $295 per camper for visitors, with a $20 discount for families with siblings. Each camper will receive a free t-shirt if registered by March 4th.

Parents can sign up their children for either camp on the Camps page of the Learning Endeavors website at learningendeavors.org/camps. For more information, people can call us at (808)793-3322 or email info@learningendeavors.org.
