About the event
Join us as we investigate wetlands through a 3 day hybrid online and in person (socially distanced) exploration of Kealia Ponds for grades 4-6! Using a STEM approach to learning, students conduct hands on experiments and utilize citizen science apps on iPads provided by Learning Endeavors. Students will also create art projects related to wetland ecology.
Day 1:
8:30 am - 11:00 am ~ Online
Day 2:
8:30 am- 11:30 am Field Trip to Kealia Ponds National Wildlife Refuge Boardwalk - Socially Distanced Citizen Science
Day 3:
8:30 am - 11:00 am ~ Online; Hands-on Science Experiment & Art Project
